General description
The RHRP8120 is a hyperfast diode with soft recoverycharacteristics. It has the half recovery time of ultrafastdiodes and is silicon nitride passivated ionimplantedepitaxial planar construction. These devices areintended to be used as freewheeling/ clamping diodesand diodes in a variety of switching power supplies andother power switching applications. Their low storedcharge and hyperfast soft recovery minimize ringing andelectrical noise in many power switching circuitsreducing power loss in the switching transistors.
