General description
The TPS54610 low-input voltage high-output currentsynchronous buck PWM converter integrates allrequired active components. Included on thesubstrate with the listed features are a true, highperformance, voltage error amplifier that enablesmaximum performance and flexibility in choosing theoutput filter L and C components; an undervoltagelockout circuit to prevent start-up until the inputvoltage reaches 3 V; an internally or externally setslow-start circuit to limit inrush currents; and a powergood output useful for processor/logic reset, faultsignaling, and supply sequencing.The TPS54610 is available in a thermally enhanced28-pin HTSSOP (PWP) PowerPAD™ package, whicheliminates bulky heatsinks. TI provides evaluationmodules to aid in quickly achieving high-performancepower supply designs to meet aggressive equipmentdevelopment cycles.
