General description

 

The PYTHON 480 image sensor utilizes high sensitivity4.8 m x 4.8 m pixels that support low noise "pipelined"and "triggered" global shutter readout modes. In globalshutter mode, the sensors support correlated doublesampling (CDS) readout, reducing noise and increasingdynamic range.The image sensors have on−chip programmable gainamplifiers and 10−bit A/D converters. The integration timeand gain parameters can be reconfigured without any visibleimage artifact. Optionally the on−chip automatic exposurecontrol loop (AEC) controls these parameters dynamically.The image's black level is either calibrated automatically orcan be adjusted by a user programmable offset.A high level of programmability using a four wire serialperipheral interface enables the user to read out specificregions of interest. Up to four regions can be programmed,achieving even higher frame rates.
